Lily – female, spayed, vaccinated to date inclu. Rabies, 6yrs, ~50lbs, Flat Coated Retriever/Retriever.
Lily’s family no longer has time for her now that there is a toddler and new baby in the home.
Lily is the perfect family dog for any family! She is very tolerant and great with kids of all ages, she is good with other dogs and good with cats – she has lived with cats happily. Lily is house trained and crate trained but hasn’t used her crate in years. She is clean, quiet and nondestructive when left home alone and given free roam, she prefers free roam and will quietly rest on a dog bed while her family is out. She is used to having someone home most of the day lately but is fine being left alone for the typical 9-5 work hours. Lily walks well on the leash and needs a good walk each day. She knows basic commands and does not get on furniture. Lily loves to play with her favorite toy “big mean kitty” or play with her people in the back yard, she also loves to play at the off leash parks. Lily rarely barks other then to let you know that someone is at the door, she is always in a good mood and happy to meet new people. She would really love to join another family with kids that can walk her, play with her and groom her regularly. Lily doesn’t mind being bathed and likes to be brushed. Lily is always up for a car ride and loves to go for a drive. This girl is perfect for pretty much any house hold. She could join you at work if you have a pet-friendly work place, she’d be great for a stay at home mom or with someone who would like to have a dog that can go any where and do any thing with the family. Lily needs a house with a fenced yard.
