Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COOPER/ MALE/ COCKER SPANIEL/ DOB- 10-07/
CONTACT: pitchick44@yahoo.com .....Cooper was found late one night in the middle of an intersection eating out of a box of bones. It was dark and it appeared someone had purposefully put him there in hopes he was get hit by a car. We stopped to move him out of the street and he followed us back to the car and of course, with those big, brown eyes, asked to get in! So we did what any other sucker would do and let him! He was underweight, covered in fleas, his fur matted with sticker burrs and sticks and it was painful for him to lay down since his fur was pulled and he was stuck by the stickers. He was also heartworm positive. We slowly cut away the mats, got his vet care and worming and began the process of putting some weight on him so he could begin heartworm treatment. Cooper has a wonderful disposition and is a real people dog. Very affectionate and loving and calm. He is about 3 years old. He loves his treats and going for walks. He would also do well with a doggy buddy but would do fine with all the love to himself.
The wonderful folks at Twyla's Friends graciously offered to put Cooper through heartworm treatment so he could begin his journey to find a new, forever loving home of his own. Do you have room in your home for a pair of big ole brown eyes with ridiculously looong eyelashes? If so, let us know!
