Shelby's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Shelby's Story...
Shelby is a sweet and gentle dog. She is 9 years old, spayed, up-to-date on
her shots, and is very gentle with my 1-year-old nephew. She gets along
well (is somewhat submissive) with the other dogs in the family and has
gotten along with cats and other animals. Her current home is an 8-acre
farm and she spends most of her time outside in the pasture and/or the barn.
When she is in the house, she is well-behaved and goes to the door when she
wants to go outside.
An ideal home for Shelby would be another farm or a home with a large fenced
area for her to play. She likes to go for walks and walks well on a leash.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shelby, a Bloomsburg German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
