Lucky von Lagerhof's Story...
Lucky von Lagerhof is the most endearing 2 year old German Shepherd with possibly a touch of Husky. Lucky is a smaller version of a shepherd, he's more compact, but no less sweet. He's been on the mellow side since we got him form his family who could no longer care for him. He is comfortable in his crate and jumped right in when our volunteer picked him up. He's not a barker and was calm and well behaved during our adoption event. He will get attached to his favorite volunteer and makes sure he can always see her. Lucky is good around other dogs and will make a great addition to a family looking for a smaller sized shepherd with a calm temperament.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky von Lagerhof, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Husky for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Husky dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Husky breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
