My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

OK, listen, people. Your dream kitten has arrived. I’m Gregor, and I’m told I have just the right amount of spunk in me - not too forward, not too shy. I’m known to chirp when I purr and give nose kisses any old time. I’m comfortable for others (people and pets alike) to take the lead, but I’m no wall flower, I can assure you. I’ll be hot on your heels during play and don’t shudder in the face of other cats and dogs. I’ve also been told I have an IQ in the upper 130s, as I’m known to think things through before I act and I have a knack for finding a good hiding place. What I’m trying to say here is that I’m your man, so pick me to expand your family!

Based on my name Yuri, you’d think I was “strong like bull.” But I’m really just a shy little guy who’s looking for a lap to call my permanent home. I love to be held and snuggled closely for long periods of time and I’ve been told by many that my soft rumbly purr could tame a lion. I love interactive toys, so throw me a feather wand, furry mouse (real or fake!) or a decent laser light, and you’ll keep me busy for hours. As you probably guessed, I’m looking for a home and would love a chance to purr you to sleep!

Gregor and Yuri were born October 2010. They both like other cats, and are currently in a foster home with a dog. Their foster mom said they are already very good about using their scratching post.
