McKenzie--adopted!'s Story...
McKenzie is a 2 year old red cropped and docked female that was an owner surrender to a shelter. She is a true red girl, friendly with all dogs and cats but just is determined that she is top dog. She does need to be taught a few manners, as she has been having a ball acting like a puppy; but like any dobergirl, should respond well to training and attention. She does cry a bit if left alone but that should subside when she gains confidence in having a new family that won't leave her. She may be a bit rowdy for smaller kids but would be fine with older kids. Come meet this darling red girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

McKenzie--adopted!, a New Richmond Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in New Richmond, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in New Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
