DOT's Story...
These 8 puppies will be up for adoption to take home January 8th 2011. This large family was rescued a few days after momma (Lucy) gave birth in the Carson Shelter. The puppies have been in a foster home with a family who has been lovingly raising them into perfect canine citizens.
Their adoption fee is $300.00 and $50.00 of the adoption fee will be refunded once the adopter spays/neuters the puppies by 6 months (spay/neuter certificate agreement!). The puppies will come with their first set of vaccinations, dewormed and microchipped.
Please email: Jamielee@ocpocketpets.org for information on ADOPTION

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DOT, a Santa ana Border Collie/Newfoundland puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Newfoundland for sale in Santa ana, or seeking a Border Collie/Newfoundland puppy from a breeder in Santa ana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa ana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa ana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Newfoundland breeders who help with Border Collie/Newfoundland rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa ana paves the way for another one to be saved.
