Huggy Bear's Story...
This is a courtesy Listing for Make a Difference Rescue

Huggy Bear is a sweet boy who LOVES to run. He's very energetic, and loves to chase a ball or a rope bone, then parade around with it. He loves affection, and loves his ears scratched. He is smart as a whip too, you can see the gears turning when he watches you do something. Huggy will require a fenced yard where he can run, and would do best with an active owner that likes to go for walks or jogs. Being a hound, Huggy has a great sense of smell, and will follow a scent that catches his attention. He'd do great with someone that played scent games with him (hide something, then let him track it) or to take him to a tracking class.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Huggy Bear, a Livonia Foxhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound for sale in Livonia, or seeking a Foxhound dog from a breeder in Livonia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Livonia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Livonia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound breeders who help with Foxhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Livonia paves the way for another one to be saved.
