Murphy's Story...
Please contact Theresa Frasier and not the Downtown Dog Rescue.
Hi...I'm Murphy!! My foster mommy says that I remind her of a stuffed teddy bear that came to life!
I am a 5 yr old, 4 1/2 lb Chihuahua. I am housebroken, very sweet, friendly, social, and get along with both big and small dogs. Nothing really bothers me...the go with the flow type. If your looking for a chihuahua who is quiet, calm and easy, than I am your guy. I am neutered, up to date on shots, micro-chipped and I just received a complete dental! My foster mom hopes that I might have a family of my own to start the New Year off!. ( I am thankful to be rescued and looking for my FOREVER HOME!) Please contact Theresa at tfbully@hotmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Murphy, a Los Angeles Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
