Jobim's Story...
Hi. My name is Jobim, but my foster mom calls me Job for short. I’m a mixed breed, but look how cute I turned out! I have beautiful eyes and a cute floppy left ear. I’m as sweet as a candy cane. I’m still a bit of a puppy, so I have lots of energy; but I aim to please. I love to play, but I also love lots of affection. I’ve learned how to use the doggy door, I’m house trained, and I know how to sit on command. I’m well-behaved on a leash with or without my foster sister along. I understand the word “No,” and I’m not stubborn. I have excellent hearing and am protective of my home and yard. I’ll be a great addition to your family and will provide you years of devotion. I just need you to give me that lifetime chance. Check me out, YOU'LL be glad you did!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jobim, a Houston German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Houston, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
