My name is Odie!

Australian Shepherd/Border Collie Mix Puppy for adoption in Portland, Oregon - Odie

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Odie's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Odie's Story...
Why is an absolute Angel of a puppy like me still waiting for my forever
home? I am as lovable and charming on the inside as I am on the outside
and as you can see that is just ridiculously charming! Who wouldn’t fall
for this face, for these ears? I know I hate to brag but I have been told over and over! I was just recently transferred here from a rescue group in hopes that
maybe my new family is waiting here instead. Sigh, I sure hope so! I
like it here, I love to play and romp with the other dogs and with kids too. Well I hope
I don’t have to spend too much more time being a “shelter” dog. Maybe
you could change all that? 5 months old-25 lbs. My adoption fee is $225 and includes; current shots, neuter, microchip, 5 week Training Class, free vet exam ,1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Odie, a Portland Australian Shepherd/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie for sale in Portland, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
