JASPAR's Story...

THIS IS JASPAR....and a sweeter Lhasa Apso, you will never find! This dapper dude is 3-4 yrs old, charcoal and white and 15 lbs of love. To look at his third picture, it's hard to believe that these two dogs are one in the same. The shelter decided to strip Jaspar of all his gorgeous locks...and underneath all that hair was a long-bodied Lhasa! Jaspar loves to welcome human and canines alike with a nice, wet, slurpy kiss! Fortunately, Lhasa don't drool!! He is so sweet -- he wants to check on everyone and see if they are okay! He is a bit taken back by loud noises, but after coming from the shelter, and going through the trauma of that experience, Jaspar has definitely come out of his shell. Jaspar is pretty well mannered and usually will only bark to greet you or to tell the squirrels "where to go! He's very smart and wants to please....he's navigating the down stairs like a pro and took to them quite quickly! He loves to give affection and get it back with lots and lots of kisses! We definitely think that Jaspar would definitely like to have a canine buddy, and kids (over 8 yrs old) would also be just great! To know Jaspar is to love he is a very special guy. But don't believe us...come and visit him at our adoption event...there is nothing like a first hand introduction! Jasper is one in a million....he's a party waiting to celebrate with you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JASPAR, a Los Angeles Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
