Homer's Story...
Doh! that’s right my name is Homer. I am here and oh so ready to light up a family and a home with my big, smiling face. I can be the light of your life, the sugar in your tea, the apple in your eye. You bet I can be that guy! The kind of guy you just can’t wait to get home to. Walks, hikes, or just chillin’ watching movies with you will be what make me happy. I am doing great with my crate training and I got rad social skills but need to learn a few more manners. I am really just a puppy still but with some more training and age under belt I am going to be the best boy ever. 16 months old-60lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; neuter, microchip, reduced cost Training Class, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Homer, a Portland Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
