Paco's Story...
Did you know Paco means absolutely freakin’ adorable? I’m not sure it does, but it should! And guess what, my personality is just as adorable! I love affection, and I like people a lot, and I love to be held. I keep my crate clean at night, I enjoy the other dogs, and everyone here say that me and cats should get along just fine as well. I’m sure you noticed I’m down to only one ear…it got hurt and infected real bad, my last owners didn’t take care of it so it had to be amputated. No biggy to me, I am still sweet as can be. So yeah, take a good look at this furry little face and follow your heart. 6 years old-18lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; neuter, microchip, reduced cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paco, a Portland Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Portland, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
