Leo's Story...
Leo is a handsome, young cat with long orange-marmalade fur, white boots and a white blaze on his nose. He weighs 3.1 pounds, and was born on 09/15/10. Like his name sake, Leo is regal and poised, with a mane of long fur on his scruff. Leo looks like he’s thinking all the time. He enjoys playing with other kitties and with toys, and napping in a sunbeam. Leo is somewhat laid-back and less athletic than his litter-mates. He purrs when held and brushed. Leo is litter box trained, vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and tested negative for FIV/FeLuk. Call 507-451-4512 to meet Leo in his foster home. His adoption fee is $150. (M&DS)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo, a Owatonna Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Owatonna, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Owatonna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owatonna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owatonna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owatonna paves the way for another one to be saved.
