Jethro's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jethro's Story...
Jethro is exactly what you might think from his name. He is a real little country boy with a big heart, always a smile and a will to please. He comes out of his kennel on a bound but will settle right down for you when he knows he has too. He is fine with cats, loves all people ( you can't pet this guy enough..he wants to "lay" on you all the time!) At about 1 1/2 years old and about 40 pounds, he will not get much bigger. He is hilarious and would be a wonderful playmate for children! Also does very well with other dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jethro, a Metamora Foxhound/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Metamora, or seeking a Foxhound/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Metamora.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Metamora already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Metamora breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Foxhound/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Metamora paves the way for another one to be saved.
