Cookie in SA's Story...
Cookie is in San Antonio.

My name is Cookie, because I am such a cutie! Cutie Cookie, that's me! All my vet work has been done and I am very healthy. I am about 2 years old. I weigh about 30 pounds. My foster mom says I am a sturdy girl. I am ready to play and learn stuff and be your new best bud. I like male dogs only. My personality is very engaging. I can keep you entertained for hours.

My early life wasn't good. I had a litter of 6 puppies and 5 died because of fleas. Lucky for me my foster mom showed up and saved my puppy and I. Life has been good ever since. All I need now is a forever home. Could that be you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cookie in SA, a San Antonio Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
