My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kash! This barely year old, strikingly handsome, classically marked boy is quite the little dynamo! He loves to be on the move, loves to learn, and loves to be with his people...if you love BCs, you’re going to LOVE Kash!

Kash came to WBCR from a crowded Idaho shelter - and from the moment we picked him up, we were in love! Kash is teeny tiny and quite the looker. He's a typically sensitive and observant BC, and is a little leery of strangers - but once he warms up and considers you a friend he will lay by your side and nudge your arm should you forget to pet him! Kash really enjoys the company of other dogs and gets along great with other canines - and has been playing nonstop with the other dogs in his foster home since the moment he arrived!! He will throw down an enormous play bow and then it’s “game on”!! Needless to say we think he'd be happiest in a home with another playful dog. He likes toys too - especially if another dog is tugging on it at the other end! He does not show much in the way of herding instinct. Cats are an unknown. Kash is a high energy fellow who loves running, hiking, and skiing - he really really likes to romp in the snow! - and he'd love to live with an active outdoorsy family. He's athletic and moves beautifully - he really prances when he walks - and given this and his smarts, we see dog sport potential in Kash, too.

Wait, did we say smarts? Yep - all this and brains too. Kash is really bright and learns quickly. Already housetrained, cratetrained, and familiar with the basics, Kash has a ton of potential to learn so much more! He will do best in a home with a fenced yard, and with adopters willing to continue with his training as well as help him gain experience out in the world, both of which will really help him build some much needed confidence.

All in all Kash is a super fun little guy with many of the typical traits of the breed. If you are looking for a young BC filled to the gills with potential, Kash may be your fella!

Kash is neutered, fully vetted and living in a loving foster home near Jackson, WY.
