JoJo is a beautifully behaved little shepherd girl. She was found by Natalie, one of our Texas volunteers, outside Natalie's office, which is in an area of Houston called "The Corridor of Cruelty" because so many animals are dumped there, and live on their own, scrounging for food. Many are hit by cars or starve. One rescue group is completed dedicated to rescuing dogs from this area, and the lady who founded that group was honored as one of CNN's Heroes of The Week for her work in saving so many lives. JoJo is our first dog from The Corridor, and we couldn't be any happier with her! This little sweetheart knows that she's been saved, and is grateful, eager to please, and is so nicely behaved. JoJo is fostering with Natalie and her family, which includes a 3 year old, a 5 year old, and an 11 year old, several other dogs, and cats! Jojo loves everyone and is happy to just find her place in the "middle of the pack" and doesn't have any dominance or aggressive tendencies. She's just a perfect sweetheart! Jojo will be ready to travel to CT for fostering the last week of December. She'll be available for "meet and greets" at that time!
