My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mia is a beautifully-colored 3yo blue merle 'mini' Aussie female. At 30 pounds, she’s a smaller-sized Aussie that’s very easy to love. She gets

nervous around new people, but has attached to her foster mom to become a “velcro” Aussie~ always two feet behind. She definitely loves her attention and snuggling but is also a good listener if you need your space. Mia is crate-trained during the day and is also crated in the bedroom at night (although she’d definitely love to curl up right beside you!). She’s perfectly behaved when time to “kennel up” and doesn’t have any accidents in her crate. She is good with cats, other dogs, and older kids, but as she adapts to the energy of the house, we do not recommend her for a home with small children. She loves her beef-flavored bones to keep her busy, playing in the snow, and going jogging.



This sweet girl’s a great walker and will pull on the leash as she’s excited, but understands “stay” and “stop” commands while on her walk. She

is not a chewer or destructive of household items but will graze the kitchen counter if food is left out and about. She’s not at all aggressive, no

biting history, and is very submissive when bathing and grooming.



This lovable girl will definitely make her new family quite happy!
