Maggie's Story...
Maggie is a pretty female tortie. She was born on 8/17/10. She has a sister who is listed here and her name is Nelly. They are very bonded. They would love to be adopted together. They have both been examined by a vet and are in excellent health. They have both tested negative for feline leukemia and aids. They are both up to date with their shots. Both are extremely loving and sweet and love to cuddle. They get along very well with other kitties and love to play with each other and their toys. If you are interested in Maggie and Nelly, please call their foster mommy, Heidi, at 908 238 1913.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Frenchtown Colorpoint Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Colorpoint Shorthair for sale in Frenchtown, or seeking a Colorpoint Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Frenchtown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Frenchtown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Frenchtown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Colorpoint Shorthair breeders who help with Colorpoint Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Frenchtown paves the way for another one to be saved.
