Nelly's Story...
Nelly is a very pretty little tabby female. She was born approximately 8/17/10. She is very bonded with her sister, Maggie, who is also listed here. They would love to be adopted into a home together. They have both been examined by a vet and are in excellent health. They have both tested negative for feline leukemia and aids. They are very sweet and cuddly and love to be held. They get along very well with other kitties. They love to play with each other and their toys. They would both make excellent companions and lap kitties. If you would like to know more about Nelly and Maggie, please call their foster mommy, Heidi at 908 238 1913.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nelly, a Frenchtown Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Frenchtown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Frenchtown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Frenchtown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Frenchtown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Frenchtown paves the way for another one to be saved.
