Violet's Story...
Hi I am an Australian Sheppard/Border Collie mix and some bad people threw me, my brothers and sisters out into a big field. We were all alone and very scared and hungry. Then the dog catcher got us and put us in JAIL. Then this nice lady came and got us and she took us to her farm. Now we have lots of puppies and cats and kids to play with. I was born on approximately Oct. 1 and I really want to be your forever pup.

To find out more information about this pup please email us at Dogsnharmony@gmail.com We will provide information about our process/paperwork and you can request an application there as well. Thank you and we look forward to helping you find your new fur-ever friend!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Violet, a Salem Australian Shepherd/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie for sale in Salem, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
