Samantha's Story...
Meet Samantha - an absolutely STUNNING long hair Maine Coon 6 month old kitten with gorgeous big polydactyl paws! Samantha's fur is the softest you will ever feel. She really adores other cats, so she MUST go to a home with at least one other cat - or adopt her with her best friend, Sophie (calico). Samantha was rescued from the street at 4months of age. It's truly amazing how sweet and gentle she is having been on her own for those first 4 months. However she is still freaked out by the idea of being picked up, and will immediately jump to get down. This may change over time, or she may never be fond of being picked up. Sammie is very shy at first, so she needs a kind family who will introduce her slowly to her new home and give her plenty of love. She is very playful, and very well behaved. We adore her - she really is a sweetheart. Already fully vetted, tested, ready to move in!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samantha, a West Trenton Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in West Trenton, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in West Trenton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Trenton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Trenton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Trenton paves the way for another one to be saved.
