My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Savannah the island puppy! Savannah was found on the island of Anguilla with her siblings at a ferry port. Stray dogs and cats are common on the island and during the month of November more puppies and kittens were euthanize at the extremely overburdened shelter that in the previous 10 months and Savannah was scheduled to meet the same fate on Dec 6 if not adopted. A rescuer from NJ was visiting a nearby island and arranged for the shelter to hold her a few more days so that Savannah could be brought to NJ home to find her a loving home. Could that home be yours?

Savannah is a mixed breed that most closely resembles the elegent Italian Greyhound. Vets estimate that she will grow to be no more than 25 pounds. She is incredibly sweet and affectionate, with playful puppy energy. She has already gotten used to a leash, collar and coat and is beginning housetraining. She has it all, looks, brains and personality!!!
