Roxie's Story...
Roxie is a young (2 yrs) Min Pin mix female with special needs. She requires owners with a lot of patience. She is very frightened of being touched when she is standing. But when she is sitting with you, she easily accepts hands-on affection. She is also a little “barkie” when company comes to the house or when meeting other dogs and owners when out walking. She uses a doggie door, plays with other dogs, and is very sweet. She will need more time than most dogs to adjust to a new home and is rather submissive, never causing a confrontation. Roxie deserves a chance in a home where she will be accepted and allowed to adjust in her own time. Spayed and vaccinated, she is ready to move on to her forever home. Please call 480-776-4276 between 5pm-9pm M-F, or on Sat between 11am to 9pm, or Sun between 9am-9pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxie, a Mesa Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
