Barlow's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Barlow's Story...
Barlow is only 5- 6 years old, his prematurely gray face gives him a distinguished look, but watch out - he is quite active, and can scale a baby gate without even backing up and taking a running jump – no low fences for Barlow please! He has lovely black and brown fur, and a very sweet disposition. Barlow is an all-around good boy, he loves to go in the car and enjoys all the sights and smells of the dog park, he has very nice house manners.

Barlow would probably like to have some other dogs for company while you’re away at work.
Barlow uses the doggie door well, he even knows how to “sit’ and dosn’t try to eat anyone else’s food. He likes the cats and doesn’t try to chase them at all, and he plays nicely with the other Bassets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barlow, a Phoenix Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
