Bo's Story...
Hi! My name is Bo! I am a young man, about ayear and a half old. I was found by my foster mom wandering around, starving, and didn't feel very good. She brought me to the vet and now I am all better, healthy and ready to find my forever home. I LOVE kids and adults...I am protective, loving, and crave attention. I am well mannered and get along well with other dogs. I am housetrained, walk good on leash, and I don't bark much. If you think that I may be a good match for your family, please email the rescue and tell them that I am your guy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bo, a Windham Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Windham, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Windham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windham paves the way for another one to be saved.
