found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Wilma, spayed female, 14 pounds, Shepherd-Dobie mix, 3 ½ months old, good with other dogs, ok with cats, not experienced with children, shots current, DoB approx 8/25/10, paper and area trained.
Like her litter mates, Wilma was less than two weeks old when rescued, eyes not opened yet, still needing mothering to survive. Bottle fed, these babies have had close human contact ever since, so they like humans and do not fear them. Wilma is quiet and watchful, but knows what she wants and when the time is right, comes up for strokes and petting. She is a perfect quiet companion, not needing constant attention and so would be ok alone for short periods. Once she warms up, she is ready to romp and play, chasing around the garden with her friends. She loves to get petted, will curl up and relax at your feet, but is not much of a lap dog – a good thing, too, because she will probably grow to about 40-50 pounds. Once trained, she will also be a perfect companion for running through fields, playing tag or catch with children and adults alike. She responds to her name, and is paper and area trained. Won’t you call to meet her? Adopt a rescue dog today; we are their voice! Always remember, the right dog for you will be one whose behavior you are capable of managing and who will be happy in the facilities you have available.
