Thumper's Story...
http://www.valleydogs.org/thumper.html -- Hi There! My name is Thumper. Yup like the rabbit! That is because my tail thumps all the time. My brother Dexter and I were rescued and now are looking for new homes.

We are just puppies so, at times we are a little shy and still need general puppy training. But, we both LOVE people. We just want you to pet us and care for us. We are in a pack of dogs so that is not an issue.

We know that there is Australian Heeler / Cattle dog in us and believe Lab or something else as well. So, we are expected to be about 50 pounds as adults.

Just look at those ears. I can hear you coming from a mile away. I just did not like my picture being taken. Camera was scary.

Wouldn’t you like to meet me and see how cute I am?? If so, please complete an adoption interest form and email adopt@valleydogs.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thumper, a Gilbert Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
