Bruce's Story...
Hi, I'm Bruce! Gosh, I'm a handsome devil! I was found wandering at night in the cold and no one came to claim me from the shelter. I had a big, swollen, infected paw. Ouch! I'm all better now. I am a really sweet boy who would love to follow you around all day and hang out with you on the couch. I love sitting outside in the sun and going for rides in the car. I love all humans, but can't share my home with other dogs or cats. I need eyedrops in one eye everyday, otherwise I am very healthy! My New Year's wish is for a wonderful family all my own.
Love, Bruce
Please have an application submitted at www.rescuebulldogs.org before inquiring about Bruce. He will be placed in the Greater San Diego area only. No other dogs, no cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruce, a San Diego English Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Bulldog for sale in San Diego, or seeking a English Bulldog dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Bulldog breeders who help with English Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
