Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Shiripa's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, not good with kids, and not good with dogs.

Shiripa's Story...
My name is Shiripa. I am a 5 year old boxer/pit mix.

I am a really good girl and I am hoping for a nice home for the holidays! I am housetrained and can be left inside without tearing anything up. I enjoy snoozing on my foster moms lap but can be ready for a nice walk as soon as she grabs my leash!

I would like to have a quiet home where I am the center of attention. Kids scare me a little, so I don't want to live with kids. I also get scared when dogs bark and jump on me. I haven't been around cats so I don't know if I would like them or not.

I have already been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested and on preventative. There is no set adoption fee for me. You can just make a donation.

Please email for an adoption application. Or call my foster mom at 540-280-7632.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shiripa, a Staunton Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
