Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sandie is spayed, front-declawed and chipped. She is very tiny (6 1/2 #). Sandie uses a litter box, got along with two small dogs, slept on the bed at night, and loves tuna.
"My husband and daughter were walking with a dog in an alley near 52nd Street & Cactus and heard this little meowing/whimpering. They discovered this very tiny little kitten (covered in sand), brought her home and we bottle-fed her until she could eat solid food." They never found any mother or other kittens.
Her owners lost their home and the new landlord insisted she be removed. (The dogs were OK.) At their old home, she caught small animals and climbed trees even though declawed. She doesn't meow a lot and has never been heard purring (doesn't know how?). She's very quiet.
Sandie is beautiful. When asked, the vet said her color was, "butterscotch!" ... which is exactly right. It is startling that she makes soft growling noises instead of purring and she will need a little patience, but will be worth the effort.
