Ruff Ruff! My name is Lucky-Handsome & Has Training!

This pet has been rescued by a good Samaritan with a big heart. This dog is looking for a forever home and is available for adoption and Molly's Mutts and Meows has offered a courtesy posting to help this dog in need. This rescuer has also been invited to show their available animal with us at our Saturday adoptions in West Hollywood.

And now, we'd like to introduce you to Lucky.

Lucky is an affectionate, loving goofball and very very smart. He was adopted from the West Valley shelter as an 8 week old puppy, only to be returned to the same shelter as a year old dog, to be 'exchanged' for yet another puppy. He had no training whatsoever and he had obviously been tossed in the back yard as soon as he was not a cute puppy anymore.

He is 3 years old, neutered, with all shots current, and microchipped. He had professional training -2 months on location- and he is very well behaved.He would do fine in an apartment or a condo, as he doesn't need a lot of space, although we would prefer to find him a home with a fenced yard. He loves to sit by your leg, his back touching you. He does not bark, does not chew, does not seem to be able to do anything wrong. He's also 100% housebroken. He's great with people and female dogs, not good with male dogs or cats. He has a big happy smile on his face all the time, as he just wants to play and love. He really deserves a compassionate family or individual who will return his love for the rest of his life.

Lucky has also had training from a professional animal trainer.  He is a champ at all the basic obedience skills.  We think in the right home Lucky will be one of the best companion animals a person could ever want.  But like with ALL power breeds (power breeds being Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, Dobermans, Akitas, etc.), you need to know what you are doing.  Lucky has been failed by several people in his life.  We do NOT want to fail him again...so we are going to be picky about his home.  This dog wants nothing but love and to please you.
