Lovie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lovie's Story...
Lovie is a playful, cuddly, and loving four-year-old female orange and white medium-haired cat looking for a loving home. This gorgeous girl was dropped off at a Chicago shelter with her kittens when they were only one day old. She has been living in a foster home where she gets along beautifully with other cats and children, but she’s not real fond of dogs. Lovie has perfect litter box habits and doesn’t scratch. She is healthy, spayed, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines, de-wormed, virus-tested, and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee of $75 benefits rescued pets. To meet and possibly Lovie, please contact Sheri at sheri@petraits.com or 312-961-4571. She is being fostered in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lovie, a Chicago Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
