Fritz's Story...
Courtesy Listing! - Please contact Irene and not the Downtown Dog Rescue.
Fritz was rescued from the Baldwin Park Shelter. He is a Miniature Schnauzer - Wire-haired Dachshund Mix. Fritz is about five months old. He is a great dog for the dog park and just cuddling with at home. Fritz is basically a happy, playful, no issues dog who is very people and dog friendly, responsive and obedient, and doing well with his potty training in his foster home. Sweet and playful, he is very affectionate and welcoming of kisses and hugs. If you are looking for a dog that just wants to be by your side, Fritz is the ultimate candidate! He would be an excellent candidate for obedience training and would do well being taught tricks. He has it in him to want to please and follow directions. Fritz is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Fritz is very dog/people social and would be happy having a friend to keep him company or live in a home where there is always someone present. He's a very good, affectionate boy and it will be wonderful to see him grow and mature to a very well behaved adult pup. If you are interested in meeting Fritz, please contact Irene Brightman at: barkandpurr@gmail.com or phone: 818-245-2301.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fritz, a Los Angeles Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
