Maple is a very sweet Lhasa/Maltese mix. She is 12-18 months old, under 20LBS. She is being foster at METHUEN,MA
She is a mellow (energetic after potty) dog barely barks. She loves to snuggle with you on the couch. She was a stray, and she is protective of her food. We are try to gain her trust over her food, and she is actually doing pretty good! She doesn't growl anymore, but she still doesn't like you are too close to her, she will give you 'the look'. She is afraid of basements, and long stairs - it could be from her experience before she was a stray. I believe she was a pet because she is house broken, when you are around. She had some accident when she was left alone.
She loves being outdoor, run around at the park or yard, watching bird, and other creatures, love to meet and play with another dog, but not live with. Adopt Maple and give her forever home, she deserve it!

Maple will not be adopted to a family with children under 10 years old due to her unpredictable food aggression.
