Cactus's Story...
My story: I am a sweet little guy who lived with my family until Christmas, when our family decided my sisters and myself we were getting too big, despite the fact we are only six months old. So they dropped us off in a strange neighborhood to fend for ourselves. It was so cold, that a nice family took us in and let us stay in their garage. I really love to play and would like a family of my own again. I am very loving and enjoy lounging in your lap. I am getting used to the dogs in the house. I am litter box trained and am sceduled to be neutered and receive my vaccines on 12/30. Do you have room for me in your home or heart?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cactus, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
