Hope's Story...
Hope is a uniquely marked, black and white, domestic shorthair cat who was born around July 2, 2010. When Hope was a tiny kitten, she was found on the side of the road by a "good samaritan" who brought her to the vet hospital. It was suspected she had been hit by a car due to trauma and lack of mobility in her hind quarters. Due to Hope's fighting spirit and the efforts from the vets and staff, Hope pulled through the infections, and her leg was saved. Hope walks with a limp, but it doesn't seem to slow her down. This friendly girl is full of life, energy, love to share, and hope! Hope has been vet checked, spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and tested negative for FIV/Feluk. If you are prepared to give Hope the forever home this lucky girl deserves, call 507-451-4512. Hope's adoption fee is $125. (MSH)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hope, a Owatonna Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Owatonna, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Owatonna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owatonna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owatonna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owatonna paves the way for another one to be saved.
