My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ike is a wonderful young black lab mix that will be a perfect fit in any home. He is sweet, gentle and playful. He absolutely LOVES children and is friendly to everyone. He gets along great with other dogs and doesn’t mind the cats. He rides wonderfully in the car and is terrific on leash. This is truly one great dog!
We found this treasure in a cold, damp concrete kennel at a shelter in rural South Carolina. Among many black dogs he stood out – quiet, but with a soulful spirit about him. He gives the sweetest kisses – very gentle – and will lay his head right up against you or sit quietly at your feet. If you want to play, he’s up for that too. He loves toys and can entertain himself with a good bone. Ike is crate trained and housebroken. He is neutered and up to date on his shots, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative for heartworms, fleas and ticks. He is microchipped.
