Hurley's Story...
Psst, come closer I have a secret to tell. My name is Hurly and I am the most wonderful girl you will ever meet. I have the gentlest and sweetest personality. I am pretty insecure in new situations , but who could blame me. Something somewhere stole away my vision, so I am blind. I get around just fine and learn my environments pretty quickly. I love other dogs and will do well with children who are old enough to know how to respect a special girl like me. I am just looking for someone with a heart as big as my own and a gentle touch- that's not too much to ask or is it? 5 years old-82lbs. My adoption fee is $140 and includes; microchip, spay, reduced cost Training Class, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hurley, a Portland Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Portland, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
