George's Story...
George is between 6 months and a year old. He is extremely friendly and loves attention. He was picked up as a stray but loves people. He is very active and needs to exercise regularly. He will also follow a scent so must be kept contained and not able to roam freely. George minds well and will come when you call him. He aims to please and is good with kids and other dogs. He prefers female and neutered dogs. He would make a great addition to any family looking for a loyal companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

George, a Lawrenceburg Black and Tan Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound for sale in Lawrenceburg, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound dog from a breeder in Lawrenceburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lawrenceburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lawrenceburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black and Tan Coonhound breeders who help with Black and Tan Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lawrenceburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
