Happy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Happy's Story...
In her short year of life Happy has had it pretty hard. Her ear was frozen off and her feet were badly frost bitten. But Happy does not let this slow her down! She is very well.... Happy. She loves to play with her toys and to play fetch. She loves other dogs and going for walks. She is also ...Happy...curling up on the couch with you. Not only does Happy have injuries from frost bite (which will not hamper the rest of her life) she also has other medical conditions which will require her to have a very special family! If you can be that family for Happy please contact the shelter!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Happy, a Pincher Creek Westie, West Highland White Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Westie, West Highland White Terrier for sale in Pincher Creek, or seeking a Westie, West Highland White Terrier dog from a breeder in Pincher Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pincher Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pincher Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Westie, West Highland White Terrier breeders who help with Westie, West Highland White Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pincher Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
