Milo's Story...
"Milo" is a little 3 month old kitten who is a very handsome gray tabby. His markings are quite interesting and pretty coloring, kind of a silvery-gray. He has a sweet face with big hazel-y eyes. He's quite friendly and will reach out to you from his kennel, begging you to stop and check him out. Just look at the enthusiasm in that face! How can you resist?? He would love to go to a new loving home and hang out on the couch with a loving new owner! So, come on in and ask to visit with him in our Cat Room. Kennel #125.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milo, a El Cajon Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
