My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

INITIAL BIO 12/31/2010: Hi, my name is Charlie Brown (but you can call me Charlie! I am a 4 year old 5.7 pound yorkie boy. I was picked up as a stray and brought to a high kill shelter. Thank goodness I was saved the day before Christmas by United Yorkie Rescue. It was so cold there and my cage was dark and scary. I am a little timid at first, but now I love my Foster Mommy. I let her brush me and hold me and snuggle with me. I love to be close to her all the time.

I was very afraid when I got here and marked every corner and piece of furniture in the house. In the last week I have kept all my business outside except for an occasional accident, but very very few and I am getting better at this housebreaking business every day. I am not interested in my fur brother and sister at the moment and could probably be happy as an only dog if you need a companion. FM says it takes a couple of weeks for the dogs that come to her house that have been thrown away to learn to play. I ride in the car well. I eat well. FM saw what happens when I am scared. I got fiesty at the vet because I was so scared, and I needed a muzzle for my exam.

I am having my neuter done on Tuesday and my teeth will get a good cleaning. Then I will be ready for a new FURever home!! There are lots of toys here, but I don’t play with any of them. I don’t think I ever saw toys before but maybe I will figure out what to do with them when my FM plays with my foster furbrother. I think if I could talk I would tell my FM how scared I was and thank her for starting me on the road to a happy life. Please take me home. I promise to make you happy! Plus………I am so cute!
