Nala's Story...
My story: Hi! My name is Nala. I am a female tortoiseshell and I am looking for a new forever home. My foster mom found me and my five siblings living in a hollow tree trunk - that was nice for a while, but our foster mom's house is much cozier. I may be one of the smallest of the bunch, but I'm certainly not small on personality! I am very talkative and sweet. I love to play, but I also love to be petted. I like lots of attention and will give it right back to you. I have a very cute disposition and I'm sure I'd make a wonderful addition to your family. I love other cats and I get along with my foster mom's doggie just fine. Can you find a place for me? I will be ready to go home on January 10.

Good with Cats: Yes | Good with Dogs: Yes | Good with Children: Yes

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nala, a Tampa Calico kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Calico kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
