Bodie's Story...
Hi, my name is Bodie! I'm a type B/Teddy Roosevelt Rat Terrier. I have the cutest short legs, and I'm quite small - about 10 pounds (I'm a tiny fellow, but big on personality). I'm a playful guy, and love playing with kids and my foster brothers and sisters - and my fostermom's cats! I'm very gentle when I play. I love a good game of Snuggle Under The Covers, too! I'm very cuddly and I love to lay quietly by your side." This small, 2 year old guy has a lot of love to give to the right forever home. He would love to be a permanent part of someone's life. Please give Bodie the chance to prove he's the dog for you. You can see more photos herehere.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bodie, a Savannah Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Savannah, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Savannah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Savannah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Savannah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Savannah paves the way for another one to be saved.
