My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Windle, a super-friendly laid back guy who needs a good home. He was rescued from euthanasia by our organization two years ago and now, sadly, his family can no longer afford to keep him. Windle is a 4-year-old bull terrier-Australian cattle dog mix. He's light brown with dark brown freckles all over. He's potty trained and very intelligent -- he knows all basic commands and is so trainable that it only took us ten minutes to teach him to "go lay down"!

He is so chill that he is one of the few dogs I can honestly say would be happy living in an apartment, although he probably wouldn't complain about a yard either. He loves, loves, loves to be around people and will follow his master where ever he/she goes. If you work from home, this is the perfect dog to keep you company. He loves belly rubs and cuddling next to you on the couch (he'll always wait for permission before coming up!).

His only two vices? 1.) He chases cats -- not the type to be your kitty's next best friend; and 2.) he barks at other dogs when he's on a leash. We're working hard on the second one and making good progress! As for the first -- when we find out how to solve the ubiquitous and eternal dog-cat rivalry, we'll let you know... ;-)
