My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lasair (LOH seer) is a 1 year old spayed female purebred black/white border collie. She is a classically marked BC with a rough coat. She is UTD on inoculations, hw neg and on preventative. Lass is really starting to "bloom". She is much more comfortable then she was even just a month ago. Lasair still prefers women but she is doing a bit better tolerating being around men, still timid, but she is very willing to stick around. Around people she knows, Lass can be quite the "crazy girl" - only in a way that she is very happy. : ) She enjoys doing dog agility and has been in class once now (with other people) and did pretty well. Lass also went to a rescue event recently. She was very timid at first with the large crowd of people and dogs. As soon as she realized that no one was going to rush up to her, she was content to sit and watch everybody walk around (without hiding). Towards the end of the 3 hour event she walked around with her foster mom, and did well...she even said "hi" to some people she knew.
Lass is doing really well, she still is wary of men and prefers women, but she has made so much improvement! Just take a look at the photos to the right (above)... you can tell which ones were taken when she first came into rescue.
