Max's Story...
Names Max, kinda boring I know…it should be More like an Awesome member of the Xmen. Ok ok, so that’s a pretty lame acronym but you get the point. I am an awesome dog, superhero-esc really. I am fun and playful, at 2 years old I am still a bit of a puppy at heart (don’t you know us rotties mature a little late in life). I love to romp and wrestle with other dogs, I love to go for walks…train me to be a sled dog, I could it! I could do it! But most of all, I just love people. I am affectionate and eager to please…bring in some biscuits and you’ll have me learning new things in no time! 2 years old-60lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes; neuter, microchip, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Portland Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Portland, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
